Sierra Drifters Guide Service was founded in 1997 and is a family operated business that contracts only full time professional guides and boat operators with their own equipment. These specially selected individuals have been handpicked by the owner & founder of Sierra Drifters, U.S.C.G. Captain Tom Loe who has logged over three thousand guided trips in thirteen seasons. We are currently the longest running established group of guides in the Eastern Sierra. I have contracted with many quality guides in this region over the years and these guys have made the cut as our exclusive go to contractors. We enjoy instructing first timers, have the patience, equipment, & programs designed for children and those who may be handicapped or who have seen many trout seasons. Our guides also have the experience & skills to test the metal of even the most accomplished fly fisher.
We promise to provide all of the fishing gear needed for your trip. We will NOT ask you to meet at a shop to purchase or rent fishing equipment for the trip. You will NOT be charged additional fees for boat, or tube rentals. We start our guide trips on location-NOT at a shop. You show up with a current fishing license, big smile, & personal gear like clothing, waders, & sunglasses; we take care of the rest!

We guarantee to provide you with safe, clean, state of the art equipment & to make your experience a memorable one. If you are not satisfied with your experience with ANY of our contracted guides; WE PROMISE TO COMPENSATE YOU. We guarantee a quality experience and stand behind it completely. NO OTHER SERVICE IN THIS REGION OFFERS THIS PROMISE, you have my personal guarantee.

We are all DFG Licensed, Liability Insured, Bonded, & Permitted with the U.S. Forest Service where necessary.

Drift Boat (year round on Lower Owens River subject to conditions)

3 persons - full day - $520 

2 persons - full day - $420

"Fish Magnet" Flats Boats 
(season:  last Saturday in April until October 31)

The LADWP charges a vehicle Parking Fee to enter Crowley Lake

4 persons - full day -      $620

single - full day - $390 

Full day = price includes all fishing tackle, lunch & beverages.  From May 1st through the end of October a full day will be 7-8 hours.

"Fish Magnet" Half Day Rates

Half day = 5 hours dock to dock, price includes fishing tackle.

Guided River Wading & Float Tube Rates
(We guide the entire Eastern Sierra year round where applicable)

There is an additional access to fee to enter the San Joaquin

Full day=7-8 hours / 3 persons = $520 

Full day 2 persons =         $420 

Full day single = $390

(Winter full days are 7 hours due to the shortness of daylight hours)

Half day=5 hours / 3 persons =   $375 

Half day 2 persons =   $325

Half day single =   $275

Fishing Licenses & Gratuities are not included in the rates above. Your guide(s) will make every effort to see that your trip is enjoyable and memorable. Gratuities for guides are greatly appreciated.

Gift Certificates and Custom Packages

Please secure your reservation with a Visa/MC. A full deposit by personal check or money order is required within 30 days of your scheduled trip date. *Rates reflect the cash or check prices. Booking your trip confirms acceptance of our cancellation policy.

In the event of your cancellation: 

1. Your deposit is fully refundable prior to 14 days of your scheduled trip date (30 days for multi-day or multi-guide trips)
2. For cancellations within 14 days of the trip, (30 days for multi day or multi-guide trips)  the full amount is non-refundable unless we are able to re-book that date for the guide.
3. For multi-guide bookings on the same day...the full amount is non-refundable unless we can rebook that guide. 

Fishing is an outdoor activity and you must come prepared for the elements.  We do not issue rain checks/or credits for inclement weather conditions , transportation problems, or personal matters.  Thanks in advance for understanding.
