Rates  Effective March 7, 2008

We are a small family run guide group of hand picked individuals that focus on teaching  innovative methods of fly fishing. We get a few dollars more because we strongly believe we are the best.    We put faces and names with our guides.  Our guide page has individual names and biography's with backgrounds of each instructor.    Every guide has extensive experience and training in the fisheries they guide.  These people are not "shop guide employees" they are professional adults with full credentials.    Sierra Drifters was established in 1998 by Tom Loe and he has selectively added six additional top notch individuals to assist fly fishers.   Our guide fees are ALL inclusive! You arrive at the lake, river or stream of your choice with a license, a camera and a smile and we take care of the rest. There are no miscellaneous hidden costs.  We will NOT make you show up at a shop and add that time to your guide day.  We promise you will NOT have to  purchase flies, lines, tippets, indicators or other tackle. We supply top of the line rods and reels at no additional cost to you.  You do NOT have to rent from us.  We will NOT add a boat fee or transportation costs.  We DO have the finest equipment and boats in the Eastern Sierra. You will be responsible for your own personal gear which would include items such as hats, jackets, sunglasses & waders if necessary. Our guide service utilizes customized Champion & Ranger flats style bay Boats and "state of the art" drift boats custom made by Willie.   There are larger and less expensive guide services for sure, but there are none better!

"Fish Magnet" Flats Boats 
(season:  last Saturday in April until October 31)

4 persons - full day* - $620   

3 persons - full day* - $520   

2 persons -full day* -  $420

single - full day* - $395

* Full day = price includes all fishing tackle, lunch & beverages.  From May 1st through the end of October a full day will be 7-8 hours.

Guided River Wading & Float Tube Rates
(We guide the entire Eastern Sierra year round)

Full day=7-8 hours / 3 persons = $520

Full day 2 persons = $420

Full day single = $395

(Winter full days are 7 hours due to the shortness of daylight hours)

Half day=4 hours / 3 persons = $375

Half day 2 persons = $325

Half day single = $275

Fishing Licenses & Gratuities are not included in the rates above. Your guide(s) will make every effort to see that your trip is enjoyable and memorable. Gratuities for guides are at your discretion and are greatly appreciated, as a gesture of thanks for their professionalism and service.

Gift Certificates and Custom Packages

Please secure your reservation with a Visa/MC. A full deposit by personal check or money order is required within 30 days of your scheduled trip date. All rates quoted are cash or check prices. Booking your trip confirms acceptance of our cancellation policy.

In the event of your cancellation: 

1. Your deposit is fully refundable prior to 14 days of your scheduled trip date (30 days for multi-day or multi-guide trips)
2. For cancellations within 14 days of the trip, (30 days for multi day or multi-guide trips)  the full amount is non-refundable unless we are able to reschedule that date.
3. For multi-guide bookings on the same day...the full amount is non-refundable  unless we can rebook that guide. 

Fishing is an outdoor activity and you must come prepared for the elements.  We do not issue rain checks/or credits for inclement weather conditions , transportation problems, or personal matters.  Thanks in advance for understanding.
